Hi Everybody

Hi Resisting Hate,

WHAT A WEEK!

All eyes have been on the Tommy Robinson libel trial where he had to represent himself after running out of cash. What we wouldn't have given to seen him strutting around the court like a short Rumpole of the Bailey. Though Tommy doesn't have a great deal of confidence in winning the trial. He announced in a tearful video on route to court on the first day of the trial that he doesn't hold out much hope for a victory. This is probably because his case relies heavily on lies and people videoed without consent. Good piece from Byline Times summarising the trial to date.

We particularly laughed at "The EDL is a centrist organisation."  Here's some background reading on the EDL for anyone who is interested. They are an anti Muslim hate organisation. Nothing remotely centrist about them.

It's not been a good week for Tiny Tears at all as the New York Times published an article on him alleging that he has been hiding funds in Russia. This is not new information but it is the first time we have seen it reported by such a credible source. We look forward to interviewing Andy Edge to find out more.

We'd like to thank everyone who tirelessly reported Mark Collett on You Tube. This was finally the week we saw the result we wanted. He was deplatformed from You Tube. This is very welcome news because deplatforming fash like this not only reduces the audience who are exposed to their extremism, it reduces their credibility. An organisation banned from FB, Twitter, You Tube etc. will naturally get people asking why. (Rumours are DLive are taking action against him too).

Interesting article this week in the Mirror about Shazia Hobbes too. Shazia is linked to notorious antisemite Alison Chabloz who is currently serving a sentence for antisemitic comments. Shazia has been flagged up for her own antisemitism and her book contract has been cancelled as a result of her behaviour.

But the best news of the week came in late on Saturday when fash mag Heritage and Destiny announced to their readers that Sam Melia (a member of proscribed hate group National Action) and Laura Melia (ex Towler, the deputy of Neo Nazi group Patriotic Alternative) were both arrested and all their devices seized. Melia was responsible for the 'Hundred Handers' group who encouraged their members to post racist stickers in public places. He's obsessed with 'demographics' and fears all non white faces.

Patriotic Alternative have attempted to paint themselves as a kind of wholesome, sanitised face of fash. Stunts like country walks, litter clear ups and Laura's little tea business were intended to mask the fact they have links to proscribed terrorist groups and self confessed Nazis like Mark Collett. There's no coming back from this.

Today we are seeing reports that a small number of people on anti Covid marches have been wearing a yellow star of David for attention to their idiotic cause. This is not just offensive to the Jewish community it is an act of absolute insolence to them and to all those who died in the Nazi death camps. Please look out for anyone supporting this antisemitic filth on social media and please report them.

Keep fighting the good fight!

Till next week
