Great to see the email network growing. Welcome to all our new Resisting Haters :)

This week we are concerned that the Home Secretary is considering repealling some of the laws surrounding hate crime.

This is the public email address for the Home Office >>public.enquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk . We urge everyone to write a polite and respectful email pointing out why it would be so dangerous to allow hate speech to flourish in the UK. If anyone would prefer to copy the email we have sent then just ping us an email and we will forward our version to you.

We particularly enjoyed the discovery that the leader of the Proud Boys turned out to be a long standing police informant. We monitor channels like Telegram closely and this has really put the cat among the pigeons. Fash are fuming and loyalties are divided. Two of the Proud Boys were also arrested for their conduct on Jan 6th. Wonder if Enrique turned them in...

The very public outing of racist Jake Henderson was an excellent reminder this week that people can and will work together on social media to name and shame racists. This vile individual has now been dismissed from his job and is unlikely to be reappointed to a new position in the near future after his offensive video went viral. We do however remind all of Resisting Hate that private addresses should only be shared with law enforcement and not openly posted on the internet. We want to see people like this censored on public platforms and held accountable by the law. We do NOT want to see them or their families come to any harm.

Finally we had a good laugh this morning to discover that Donald Trump's legal team appear to have deserted him a week before his impeachment trial.
