Seeing some really good results from reporting this week across all social media channels. One individual had 842 reports back from Twitter alone. It is brilliant how many of you donate your time to helping clean hate off the internet.

We were frustrated to see that Katie Hopkins posts on Parler are making their way to Twitter via other accounts. In particular this video where Katie puts on a niqab and dances around in an offensive manner intended to mock british citizen abroad Shamima Begum should not be on mainstream social media. It is worth typing Katie Hopkins into the search periodically and reporting anyone sharing her videos. The same goes for other big name suspended haters like Tommy Robinson.

The Twitter search function plays a very key role in finding accounts and tweets that should not be on Twitter. Looking up known hate words (The P word, The N word, the K word) will yield a host of racist accounts for reporting. If you do come across a racist account it is also worth doing a Twitter advanced search to see if they have used the C word directly against someone. If they have, then a report for harassment is usually enough to get them suspended.

Facebook is a little more complicated as it doesn't have such a sophisticated search engine. Most of the offensive content tends to be in groups rather than on pages so for dedicated reporters we would recommend a second FB account that is not linked to your own. You can then join groups (many of whom will promote others so it is easy to join multiple groups very quickly) and report from within.

We are looking to start mass emailing to DLive as this is now the primary channel for Nazi videos. DLive is a streaming service but when an account reaches 1000 subscribers their videos are saved on the site. We have needed to wait for them to reach these numbers so we can provide the clips to illustrate the vile content they are publishing. We'll be sending out an email template soon.
