Hiya Resisting Hate, Lots going on this week as always. We published an expose on one of the #TeamTommy inner circle who has spend time in jail for defrauding the welfare system to the tune of half a million pounds. So next time you see a far right hater whining about immigrants costing the system money, feel free to post it at them and remind them that grifting internet haters are cheating the very system they claim to be defending. We would prefer not to download and post the footage as it shows his children, but great to see Tommy Robinson getting a taste of his own medicine this week. There he was, sat in the sun (not social distancing) on holiday abroad when an individual who definitely doesn't share his racist views openly challenged him in public. Robinson does this to people all the time but didn't seem to enjoy it much when it was done to him! David Vance (who appears to be livid that Resisting Hate are doing our utmost to get him deplatformed) published a defamatory article about our organisation this week. We tend not to be the litigious type but are making an exception given the easily disprovable nature of the lies told. We are seeking legal advice and are likely to proceed to suing the hateful man. In more positive news we are receiving unprecedented numbers of emails and messages from you all and great to see so many people stepping up to fight hate. We were able to put our collective info and knowledge to good use as we have contributed to a government thinktank on online hate. We have also established a working relationship this week with another anti prejudice organisation who are very interested in the Resisting Hate archives and the material we have gathered on prominent fash and Neo Nazis. And talking of Neo Nazis, we are grateful to everyone involved in 'Project Telegram' who have been infiltrating chats and channels and sending us screenshots. These will be particularly handy for future publications on Nazi group Patriotic Alternative if they ever progress beyond showing banners to sheep and do anything that warrants us taking them seriously.
