Hiya Resisting Hate, Another good week for fighting hate. Getting numerous reports across our network of FB accounts going down, Twitter accounts suspended and even You Tube taking some positive steps to clean up their platform. The Black Lives Matter activists have really helped wake the general public up to the fact that racism is still a massive issue in this country and it is great to see so many people refusing to accept racism or hate in any form. Our campaign to remove David Vance from Twitter is still going strong. Amusingly he got wind of it and had a good cry about Resisting Hate on his Parler account which gave us all a good laugh. However on a more serious note, numerous Conservative MPs are now deleting their retweets of him and Vance himself locked his account for a few days to clean up the cesspit of filth that is his Twitter feed. He's also being sued for libel by Professor Gopal from Cambridge University so it may not be long until RH are looking for a new primary campaign:) Vance has deleted a lot of his tweets but this one is worth reporting for hate speech. In other news, the bunch of hapless Neo Nazis known as Patriotic Alternative decided they might have more luck convincing sheep to be racist than they would their fellow human beings. So they trekked up Mam Tor in Derbyshire and unfurled a banner saying White Lives Matter. Unfortunately for them this stunt was met with both hilarity and derision on every social media platform they posted it on. We've put together a selection of some of the comments in an article here and would suggest that people report both their Facebook and their Twitter accounts.
